Buffer overflow in Intel QAT Windows drivers before 1.13 allows local users to interrupt service through a Ring 3 user application. Intel has not disclosed the affected Ring 3 component, buffer, or unchecked copy operation that processes attacker-controlled input. Local users need a low-privileged authenticated account, but no user interaction; Intel has not disclosed the form or duration of the service interruption.
