CVE-2026-20775

System interruption via uncaught Ring 0 exception

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Uncaught exception in Intel TDX Module 1.5.28 and earlier and 2.0.16 and earlier allows local users to interrupt affected systems. Intel identifies the fault within Ring 0 Trust Domain operation but has not disclosed the triggering input, affected code path, or failed exception-handling operation. Exploitation requires privileged system-software access, high complexity, and additional attack conditions; the disclosed consequence is availability loss without confidentiality or integrity impact.
