Local denial of service via improper condition check
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Improper condition checking in Intel NPU Driver before 1.32.0 on Linux and 32.0.100.4723 on Windows allows local users to cause denial of service. Intel has not disclosed which Ring 3 user-application condition is checked incorrectly or how attacker-controlled input reaches it. Low-privilege authenticated local access is required, no user interaction is needed, and successful exploitation interrupts availability with limited integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
