CVE-2026-20767

Local privilege escalation

Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026

Improper input validation in Intel QAT software drivers for Windows before 1.13 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the Ring 3 user-application interface as the exposed component but has not disclosed which input is accepted or how validation fails.
