Information disclosure via unchecked EMF point count
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity for Windows before 3.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted EMF file. The EMF loader trusts the EMR_POLYBEZIERTO16 Count field and reads aPoints without ensuring that 0x1C plus four times Count fits within recordSize. Exploitation requires a user to open the file; documented consequences are memory disclosure and a crash, with no reported memory write or code execution.
