Code execution via unchecked HDR buffer copy

Heap-based buffer overflow in GIMP 3.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute code when a crafted HDR image is opened. The HDR parser copies attacker-controlled data into a heap buffer without validating that the supplied length fits the destination. Execution occurs in the GIMP process context and requires the target to open the malicious file or visit a page that causes it to be processed.
