CVE-2026-20471

Physical denial of service via unchecked DA write

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek chipset DA allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt affected devices through physical access. The DA subcomponent writes beyond a buffer because it processes input without the required bounds check; the affected routine and input field are undisclosed. The flaw requires no privileges or user interaction and affects MT2735, MT2737, MT6813, MT6880, MT6890, MT6986, MT6988, and MT6990 chipsets.
