Heap overflow in MediaTek Chipset Telephony allows local users with System privilege to escalate privileges without user interaction. The Telephony component overflows a heap buffer, but MediaTek has not published the affected function, input path, or missing bounds operation. Exploitation requires existing System privilege and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the unchanged security scope.
