Authentication bypass via unprotected remoting service
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Missing authorization in GFI Archiver 15.10 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through the MArc.Store remoting service. The MArc.Store.Remoting.exe process listens on TCP port 8018 and exposes functionality without performing authorization checks before access. No authentication is required; the bypass is a chain component that can help execute code as SYSTEM when combined with another vulnerability.
