CVE-2026-2037Network attack vector

SYSTEM code execution via untrusted deserialization

Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026

Deserialization in MArc.Core.Remoting in GFI Software GFI Archiver 15.10 allows remote attackers to execute code as SYSTEM via port 8017. The MArc.Core.Remoting.exe configuration exposes a listener that accepts user-supplied serialized data without proper validation before deserialization. ZDI states that authentication is required but the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed, allowing remote attackers to gain SYSTEM-level execution.
