SYSTEM code execution via untrusted configuration deserialization
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Deserialization in GFI Archiver 15.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through MArc.Store.Remoting configuration data. MArc.Store.Remoting.exe deserializes user-supplied configuration data without validating it as trusted input. Exploitation requires low-privilege network access, while the documented authentication bypass removes that gate and yields SYSTEM execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
