Contributor-level stored XSS via post-sanitization entity decoding
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Stored XSS in Livemesh Addons for Beaver Builder 3.9.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. The labb_pricing_item shortcode sanitizes title and value with wp_kses_post(), then htmlspecialchars_decode() reactivates encoded markup. Contributor-level access is required; injected scripts execute in the browsers of users who open a page containing the malicious shortcode.
