CVE-2026-20260Network attack vector

Log display manipulation via unneutralized HTTP paths

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Log injection in Splunk SOAR before 8.5.0 allows remote attackers to write ANSI escape codes to application logs through HTTP paths. The HTTP request logging path writes attacker-supplied control characters without stripping or neutralizing them. No authentication is required, but an administrator must view the poisoned log in a compatible terminal for the escape codes to be interpreted.
