CVE-2026-2026

Local service interruption via weak directory permissions

Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026

Incorrect default permissions in Tenable Agent before 11.0.4 and 11.1.0 through 11.1.1 allow local users to interrupt the agent service. Weak permissions on the agent's Windows installation directory permit unauthorized access, but Tenable has not disclosed the affected entries or disruptive operation. A low-privileged Windows account is required, and the documented consequence is limited data exposure and service interruption without protected-data modification.
