Authenticated profile access and poll manipulation via IDOR
Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026
IDOR in Cisco Slido's REST API allows remote authenticated users to view other users' social profiles or alter poll and quiz results. The API accepts a crafted object reference at an affected endpoint without enforcing object-level authorization, returning another user's profile data or applying changes to quiz and poll objects. A valid Slido account is required; reported impact is limited to unauthorized profile disclosure and quiz or poll result manipulation.
