CVE-2026-20212Network attack vector

Unauthenticated root code execution via exposed S1HAL ports

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026

Remote code execution in Cisco NX-OS Software allows remote attackers to run code as root through exposed Silicon One service ports. The Silicon One integration exposes TCP ports 43210 and 43211 in the default L3 VRF and executes crafted input received through them. No authentication is required; successful exploitation grants full device control, while malformed input can crash S1HAL and reload the switch.
