Authenticated command execution via unvalidated arguments
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Command injection in BrowserBot in Cisco ThousandEyes Enterprise Agent allows remote authenticated users to run commands in the agent container. BrowserBot accepts crafted user-supplied command arguments without sufficient validation in the synthetics orchestration path. Exploitation requires valid ThousandEyes SaaS credentials and transaction-test management rights, and commands execute as the node user inside the BrowserBot container.
