Authenticated command injection via crafted HTTP request
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Command injection in Cisco Identity Services Engine 3.4 Patch 3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The web interface passes insufficiently validated HTTP-request input into an operating-system command context; Cisco has not disclosed the handler or parameter. Read Only Admin credentials are required, and exploitation grants user-level access followed by root elevation and can interrupt a single-node deployment.
