Unauthenticated administrative access via crafted peering requests

Authentication bypass in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager allows remote attackers to gain administrative access through crafted peering requests. The control-connection handshake accepts crafted peer-authentication requests without correctly enforcing peering authentication. The flaw is reachable without credentials in every deployment type and grants a high-privileged non-root account that can use NETCONF to alter SD-WAN fabric configuration.
