Information disclosure in affected Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform versions allows remote authenticated users to retrieve sensitive data. The MongoClient logging channel places sensitive information in a job's search log without access controls that exclude low-privileged roles. Any user below the admin or power roles can inspect the log; Splunk has not described the exposed data more specifically.
