Stored XSS via crafted View traversal payload

Stored XSS in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The /manager/launcher/data/ui/views/_new endpoint accepts a crafted View payload whose traversal path reaches stored browser-executable content. A low-privileged user without admin or power role access must phish a victim into initiating the browser request, and Splunk Web must be enabled.
