Unauthenticated policy bypass via crafted authentication requests

Authentication bypass in Cisco Secure Web Appliance allows remote attackers to send HTTP requests that policy should restrict. The AsyncOS authentication service improperly validates user-supplied authentication input in specially formed HTTP requests, allowing those requests to evade policy enforcement. No credentials or user interaction are required; the appliance itself is not directly affected, but restricted web traffic can traverse it.
