Administrative code execution via invokeScript system call
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Command injection in Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC affected releases allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The invokeScript method passes a user-supplied string to a system call without proper validation after receiving a crafted HTTP request. Valid administrative credentials are required; execution begins as iseadminportal, can reach root, and can interrupt a single-node deployment.
