Client-side denial of service via profile payloads
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Client-side denial of service in Splunk Web allows remote authenticated users to make Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform unresponsive. Affected releases are Enterprise 10.0.0 through 10.0.1, 9.4.0 through 9.4.7, 9.3.0 through 9.3.8, and 9.2.0 through 9.2.11, plus Cloud Platform before 10.2.2510.3, 10.1.2507.8, 10.0.2503.9, and 9.3.2411.121. The password-change endpoint accepts attacker-controlled realname, tz, or email values that Splunk Web processes with excessive client resource use; a low-privileged account without admin or power and Splunk Web enabled are required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
