Unauthenticated root command execution via boot-created process

Authentication bypass in Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center allows remote attackers to execute root commands via crafted HTTP requests. A system process created during device boot improperly exposes a web-interface path that accepts attacker-controlled requests and invokes scripts and commands as root. The management interface must be network-reachable, and Cisco states that all device configurations are affected, while public internet isolation reduces exposure.
