Administrator-level XSS via insufficient input validation
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Identity Services Engine 3.1 through 3.4 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in another user's browser. The web-based management interface accepts insufficiently validated input on unspecified pages and returns the injected code for browser execution. Valid administrative credentials and interaction by an interface user are required; successful attacks expose browser data or alter page behavior.
