CVE-2026-2004Network attack vector

Code execution via untyped selectivity estimator input

Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026

Improper type validation in PostgreSQL intarray before 18.2, 17.8, 16.12, 15.16, and 14.21 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The selectivity estimator accepts an operator with an unexpected argument type and interprets its input without verifying the expected type. Object-creation privileges are required; successful exploitation runs code as the operating system account hosting the database.
