Administrative root file overwrite via path traversal

Path traversal in Cisco Secure Firewall FMC and FTD Software allows remote authenticated administrators to overwrite root-owned files. The sftunnel file-synchronization path accepts a crafted directory outside the expected location and creates or replaces the referenced operating-system file. Administrative credentials and a high-complexity path construction are required; successful exploitation writes as root and can damage integrity or availability.
