Unauthenticated packet-inspection interruption via incomplete SSL parsing

Denial of service in Cisco Snort 3 Detection Engine allows remote attackers to restart the engine with crafted SSL handshake packets. The SSL handshake ingress parser incompletely parses malformed handshake data, causing the engine to restart unexpectedly. No authentication or user interaction is required; affected traffic must traverse an active Snort 3 engine, and packet inspection is interrupted during the restart.
