Script execution via unsanitized email reflection
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Cross-site scripting in offersmail.php in Code Projects Online Shopping System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via email input. When email validation fails, offersmail.php echoes the POSTed email value into a warning message with no HTML encoding or sanitization, so injected tags are reflected back and executed by the browser. No authentication is required, but successful exploitation depends on reaching the error path with a crafted invalid email value and affects only the victim browser session.
