Customer-data disclosure via unmapped ACL routes
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authorization bypass in Webkul Bagisto 2.4.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read customer behavior data via /admin/customers requests. The affected wishlist, compare, cart, and recent-order endpoints are not mapped to customer-view ACL entries, and the corresponding controller actions accept a customer ID from the URL, query repositories, and return JSON without an explicit authorization check. Any backend user who can sign in to the admin panel, even with only minimal dashboard permissions, can read another customer's wishlist items, compare list, active cart, and recent ordered products, but the published evidence does not show data modification.
