CVE-2026-19983Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via Host-header token bypass

Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026

OS command injection in GL.iNet router firmware 4.8.x allows remote attackers to execute commands as root through the NAS Command Service. The gl_nas_sys service trusts a loopback Host header, bypasses its NAS API token check, and passes metacharacters from a filename to GL_NAS_EXEC_FILE. The service listens on port 6000 only after an administrator opens Network Storage, and any network attacker able to reach that port can execute root commands.
