OS command injection in GL.iNet router firmware 4.6 through 4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The Wi-Fi timer power-schedule feature stores unvalidated switch_power and restore_power values, which the timer service writes into root cron entries. Administrative access to the network-reachable management interface is required, and successful exploitation permits file access, persistent configuration changes, and control of routing or firewall behavior.
