Backup access via missing authentication
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026
Missing authentication in the Backup Endpoint in LB-Link WR1210M 1.0.3 allows adjacent attackers to access backup.cgi via the local network. The main handler in /www/cgi-bin/backup.cgi does not verify requester identity before processing backup endpoint requests, leaving the CGI endpoint reachable without login from the LAN. Exploitation requires reachability from the same local network, and the published scoring limits the observed impact to confidentiality rather than device modification or service interruption.
