SYSTEM code execution via user-writable process files

Local privilege escalation in IDrive Windows Application 7.0.0.63 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM. The elevated id_service.exe service treats UTF16-LE content from standard-user-writable files under C:\ProgramData\IDrive as process arguments without enforcing trusted file permissions. Any authenticated standard Windows user with access to that directory can point the service to a script or executable, gaining full control of the host without user interaction.
