Contributor-level stored XSS via titleTag rendering
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Stored XSS in Jegstudio Gutenverse 4.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted titleTag. The chart block stores the attribute inside a block-comment delimiter, bypassing save-time wp_kses_post filtering, then do_blocks() turns it into unescaped live HTML during rendering. Contributor-level access is required; the stored script runs for page visitors and in editor or administrator preview sessions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
