Arbitrary file deletion in Atarim for WordPress before 5.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to delete server files via attachment metadata. The replace-media-file execute_callback in AVCF_Abilities_Media::register unlinks the path returned by get_attached_file() after atarim/update-post-field can rewrite an attacker-owned attachment's _wp_attached_file value to a traversal path. Author-level access is required, and deleting files such as wp-config.php can disrupt the site and create a path to subsequent remote code execution.
