Authenticated query manipulation via delete_supplier SQL injection
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through supplier IDs. The delete_supplier function extracts the POST body and interpolates its untrusted id value directly into a raw DELETE query without parameter binding or strict type validation. The demonstrated request used an authenticated session cookie, and the verified effects are attacker-controlled query execution and backend DBMS fingerprinting.
