Authentication bypass via query-string whitelist match
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
Authentication bypass in Tenda AC10 16.03.10.09_multi_TDE01 allows remote attackers to access protected endpoints via crafted URLs. In httpd, R7WebsSecurityHandler strips the query string for most checks but uses strstr on the raw URL for two whitelist entries, so appending a whitelisted static-file name in the query string returns pass before any credential verification. Reachability requires network access to the web interface, with WAN exposure only if remote management is enabled, and the bypass can expose configuration downloads, log downloads, and administrative goform handlers.
