Authenticated database access via cat_id SQL injection
Published Aug 16, 2026 · Updated Aug 16, 2026
SQL injection in homeaction.php in Code Projects Online Shopping System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The get_seleted_Category branch assigns POST cat_id to $id and interpolates it into a quoted SELECT predicate without filtering or parameterization. A low-privilege application session can reach the category-selection POST path, and the demonstrated boolean oracle exposes database content without establishing code execution.
