Database reads and writes via unescaped ID
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
SQL injection in edit_teacher.php in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data. The handler inserts the GET id value directly into an SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads. No login or authorization is required; successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads and writes within the web application's database privileges.
