Code execution via unvalidated OGM file parsing
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Memory corruption in OriginLab Origin Viewer 9.9.5 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted OGM file. The OGM parser processes attacker-controlled file data without proper validation, producing a memory-corruption condition. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file or visit a page that supplies it, and successful code runs in the current process.
