Unauthenticated arbitrary shortcode execution via unsanitized entry key
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Arbitrary shortcode execution in Business Directory Team Formidable Forms before 6.35 allows remote attackers to run shortcodes server-side. The custom HTML renderer substitutes a request-derived [entry_key] token value into form markup without neutralizing shortcode syntax before passing that markup to the WordPress shortcode parser. Exploitation requires a page displaying a form whose custom HTML uses the supported token; the shortcode and its attributes are attacker-controlled.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
