CVE-2026-19842Network attack vector

Administrator takeover via SAML trust-anchor overwrite

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Improper authentication in miniOrange SAML Single Sign On – SSO Login before 5.4.7 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access. The response handler stores an X.509 certificate from an unverified SAML response, and a one-click control can replace the trusted signing certificate with it. Exploitation requires an administrator to activate the stored certificate; afterward, the attacker can authenticate as any WordPress user, including an administrator.
