Customer impersonation via unmapped ACL route

Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026

Authorization bypass in Webkul Bagisto 2.4.0 through 2.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate any customer account. The login-as-customer route is absent from the ACL map, and its controller accepts a customer ID and logs that customer into the frontend guard without another authorization check. Any backend user with admin-panel access, including a role lacking customer permissions, can read customer profiles, addresses, orders, and downloadable-item data and act through the victim account.
