Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked qosIndex copy
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Stack overflow in Tenda W20E 15.11.0.6(1068_1546_841)_CN_TDC lets remote authenticated users corrupt memory via qosIndex. The formQOSRuleDel handler passes the request parameter to strcpy, which copies it without a length check into the 1,024-byte input.src stack buffer. An authenticated management-session cookie is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates the overflow but not code execution.
