Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded route formatting
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda G0 20260625 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a static-route request. The addStaticRoute routine passes attacker-controlled network, mask, and gateway strings to sprintf for a 256-byte stack buffer without enforcing an output bound. Low-privileged web-management access is required with no further user interaction; the public record does not establish code execution.
