Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded shareSpeed formatting
Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC1206 15.03.06.23_multi_TD01 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt httpd memory. The set_wl_guest_iplist function formats the user-controlled shareSpeed value into the fixed 128-byte qos_iprule stack buffer with unbounded sprintf. A valid web-management session is required; published material demonstrates the overwrite path but does not document achieved code execution.
