CVE-2026-19762Public exploitNetwork attack vector

File-existence and size disclosure via path traversal

Published Aug 14, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026

Path traversal in DTStack Taier 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to probe arbitrary host files through the chunk-check endpoint. FileChunkController passes the unvalidated name field to Paths.get under the upload folder, then reports whether the resulting file exists and matches a supplied size. The hidden, deprecated endpoint remains mapped without URI-level authorization, but it exposes only file existence and exact size, not file contents.
