Authenticated arbitrary file write via upload filename
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Path traversal in DTStack Taier 1.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite JVM-writable files via multipart filenames. UploadController.getResourcesFromFiles appends getOriginalFilename() directly to file-uploads and passes the resulting path to transferTo without sanitization or a canonical containment check. A valid operator session with component-management access is required, and filesystem impact is limited to locations writable by the Taier JVM user.
